The scripture challenges Christians to "Be ready to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15). Many church attendees today do not know what they believe. And even if they know what they believe, they do not know why they believe it. Atheists and agnostics are ruling the day by engaging Christians in debates that believers are ill-prepared for. Over these next few weeks, Pastor Mark will share the basic beliefs of our faith and give a solid foundation for why we should believe it. This week's message is "I believe in the power of the Gospel." May each of us shout the affirmation in John 9:38, "'I believe Lord'..and he worshipped him."
